I love to cook with the sheet pan and can’t wait to try out many of these variations! I also line the pan with aluminum foil and then parchment to avoid leaching anything from the pan – then – clean up is a breeze.
We love that tip, Lisa! Thank you for sharing that with our followers! Have a great weekend!
this is such a wonderful post! I am single and doing tray bakes for the week is the best way to cook for me. This will keep me busy for weeks!! thanks!

Where does the meat fat go? For some reason, I imagine my veggies soaking in a pool of chicken or salmon fat.
Hi, Amanda – Personally, we have never experienced our vegetables soaking in a pool of fat. The protein sources we use, even salmon,
are fresh leaving little juice/fat running all over the sheet pan. However, if this is a concern for you, we recommend
putting a cookie cooling rack on top of the sheet pan to slightly elevate your vegetables. We hope that helps!
I have also had luck by placing meat on one side of pan and then folding the foil or paper to form a dam like to keep fat away from rest of food. This works best with foil. Also you can use 2pans one for meat one for vegs.
For larger families, I recommend doing two pans at the same time! I typically load one up with veggies and the second for meat. If there is any extra I use throughout the week for lunches!
Great tip Lindsey! Thank you for sharing
I recently found this post, I have a large family and we recently decided to do more clean eating less processed foods. It has been overwhelming at times meal planning, cooking, cleaning up a million pots & pans when cooking for a family 9+. Thank you so much for so many absolutely great ideas!
Wow! A family of 9… what a blessing. Glad you found this post useful. If you have any favorite one sheet recipes, feel free to share a link or two. =)
Thanks for sharing the recipes, I tried one today and I loved it!
Would you tell me which is your favorite pan (brand, size)? I used a foil one today but it will be expensive if I just throw them away after cooking.
Hi Susana –
We are so happy you loved the recipes! To be honest, I (Sarah) just use a cheap $14.99 – 3 sheet pan set from HomeGoods. This way I have a variety of sizes on hand depending on what I am making. I hope that helps!
You can’t go wrong with any of the Anolon baking pans. Size also varies based on how much you’re cooking and your oven size. 11×17 is a pretty standard size though. =)
What’s the best brand and size of “sheet pan” to use?
You can’t go wrong with Anolon. We love their stuff!
Some nice recipes, but several are not Paleo or Whole 30 as listed.
Thank you for catching! Updated the post to reflect the recipes… Was just supposed to be sheet pan recipes, not diet specific. =)
