Snacks and desserts are the easiest to overdue.  When thinking about keto snacks and desserts, you will really want to keep portion control in mind.  These are typically very dense and calorie heavy (which isn’t a bad thing necessarily) and it’s easy to take in a lot, in a relatively short time frame.  When you’re prepping your keto meals, do you ever think about prepping keto snacks or keto desserts?

The Thai Chicken Lettuce wraps are not Keto at all… one serving is over 18 carbs. Most keto diets have a maximum of 20-25 carbs per day. Not likely to stay in KETOSIS if you go much higher than that in a whole day.

    • Hi Valerie –

Great catch! Thank you for pointing that out. You are 100% correct in that eating that would not allow one to stay in ketosis for the day. We have gone ahead and adjusted the post.

  2. Mmmm…..so much yummy goodness I can’t wait to try!

  3. These look great!
Not long started the Keto diet myself. Balancing my protein intake has been the biggest challenge so far, so am deffo going to add a few of these to my meal plan to balance things out. 😀

  4. I am 53 old women with type 1 diabetes an my A1C was 7.6 to 6.3. I’ve been on the keto diet for three month only lost 12 pounds out 20 to lose. I should start walking to get rest of weight off with diet.

  5. So many great recipes. Some have a higher carb count but healthy and filling.

Looks good, I’m looking at meal-prep as a way to stay on track with the keto program as well as streamlining my cooking time and food purchases, and stay flexible with my husband’s and my dietary needs.

  7. So far I’m not seeing any of these being “prep” meals

  8. Not many of these would be good to make ahead and store for the entire week or freeze. Maybe for a day and that’s about it as far as being able to be prepped.

  9. Wow, these meatballs look great! The ketogenic diet is a very low-carb, high-fat diet that shares many similarities with the Atkins and low-carb diets.

  10. Hello I want to start a keto diet. I wanted to see if how do I meal prep for the day
