Special Thanks to Z-Line for partnering with us on this post and thank YOU for supporting the brands that help make Meal Prep On Fleek possible. All opinions are our own.
With a crazy year almost behind us (2020), March was the perfect month to undertake a home project of this size. As a regular meal prepper, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen as-is. With all the shutdowns this year, I have been able to start, finish, and enjoy a new kitchen more than I had expected.
Cooking is not a joy for everyone in my house, but the ability to gather in the kitchen is a common joy we all share. More often than not, we can feel the strain of a dim lit and dreary kitchen when everyone is sitting down for dinner, which was just the motivation I needed to make the change.
Challenge accepted. You ready for a look?
Before: Meal Prep on Fleek “test” Kitchen:
The kitchen had low ceilings, a small and narrow footprint, a half-wall diving the living room and the kitchen, very little lighting, and old brown cabinets. (Slow, sad, violin playing)
Now for the new!
Countertop: Quartz BCS Mist Gray
Dishwasher: Bosch 24″ 800 Series Dishwasher
Microwave Drawer (my wife’s favorite addition!): Z-Line MWD-1 Microwave Drawer
Faucet: Z-Line Arthur FPTB-SS Faucet
With the new, fresh, open feel my family has been able to join me in the kitchen and even help with my meal prep sessions. Making more room for some of our favorite Kitchen Tools!
My hat goes off to my wife for the incredible job of design!
If you’re wondering what the first recipe was that I meal prepped in the new kitchen, believe it or not… it was Pizza Chicken! =)
