This crunchy snack mix is gluten-free with zesty ranch flavor made from dried buttermilk, dill, and chives. Heart-healthy almonds add a dose of good-for-you fats that satiate.
1 ½cupsgluten-free pretzelscan use regular pretzels if not gluten free
½cupraw almonds
3tablespoonunsalted melted buttersub with vegan butter, if needed
1teaspoonpowdered buttermilkuse a vegan alternative, if needed
½teaspoondried chives
¼teaspoondried dill
¼teaspoonsalt
⅛teaspoongarlic powder
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 250ºF and line a 9x13 rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add Chex cereal, pretzels, and almonds to a medium bowl. Stir together melted butter, buttermilk, salt, dill, chives, and garlic powder in a separate small bowl. Pour butter mixture over Chex mix and stir with a rubber spatula to coat.
Spread mixture evenly on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes to make sure it's toasted evenly. Cool on a baking sheet for 10 minutes.
Divide Chex mix among 4 snack containers. Snack to your heart's content!
