  1. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the cacao and almond butter and optional sweetener on the stove top over medium low heat until combined, stirring often.
  3. Pour mixture onto the parchment lined baking sheet and spread with the back of a spoon to form an even layer and sprinkle with slivered almonds.
  4. Refrigerate bark for at least one hour, then break into pieces.
  5. Store bark in the fridge until ready to serve.
