The Korean BBQ burrito is definitely not healthy, she even writes down the bottom of the recipe that they are high calorie. With rice, a flour tortilla, beef cooked in 1/4 cup of sugar and mayo it's pretty clear it's not going to be a super healthy recipe. It's delicious as hell though (I've made it) but it's also probably your entire daily caloric intake.
Hi Fiona! Thanks so much for pointing that out! The majority of the ingredients are healthy and it packs so much flavor, which is why we chose this recipe. As with almost any recipe, you can choose healthier options such as a paleo mayo, coconut sugar in place of brown sugar or even adjust the amounts. She also states at the bottom that nutrition facts are not included because A) it is a bit higher calorie and B) you can use as much or as little in the middle of each burrito as you see fit. The great thing about "healthy" is that we each have our own interpretation of what that is. We always advise to be mindful of your portions and your own personal caloric needs.

Perfectly said, I did mine today with no sugar or soy sauce, just beef broth and it was lovely. I used a low carb wrap and brown rice. Perfect for a long run for me.
Thanks Fiona for pointing that out for everyone. I've sub the sugar for coconut sugar and instead of doing rice I subbed it for cauliflower rice, instead of soy sauce I use Bragg, Liquid Aminos or Low-Sodium Soy Sauce.
thank you
